Yeah, I thought it might be made by BTS because they were one of the major players in buckles that were actually solid brass as opposed to that terrible faux aged brass plated pot metalThank you! It was my late father’s and my favorite belt buckle. I think Heritage Mint made this one if that is what you are asking?
Love that acorn! Cyclops 440c for life!I brought three knives to the mountains for the weekend; the Camillus Army Engineers knife, the new GEC 2AB, and my much used GEC 43. I had a thought that the 2AB might replace the 43 on my outdoor adventures, with that sexy 440C stainless blade. I don’t know. I’ve taken the 43 on so many trips, it’s hard to think of using anything else. I really love that 43; it’s got so much history with me. But we’ll see if the 86 can begin to prove itself.

What’d you use to clean them off? Those look really fresh.Gave the blades a little cleanup, will rebuild some patina again. I sort of enjoy the cycle.

Easier just to dump them in a bucket of oil and let drip dry.Carrying the Angus Jack today; also, I oiled some others down and put them away. Sometimes you have to clear the kitchen table off.
