By the way, it helps to make spacers for the screws from a plastic card to hold the decorative part of the socket. I like this type of awl much better than the awl that comes out of the spine of the handle, like the Victorinox ones

Posting form the OBX today. Carrying a Victorinox Pioneer X and a Rapala fillet knife I’m using to hack through bait. I think the cutlers that manufactured this one forgot the heat treatment. I caught this Red Drum at about 6:30 this morning; the fish are shut down now. We’re going back out this evening; hopefully we’ll get back on them.

Will you eat the drum? I’ve never had drum, or even seen one that big before.
