What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

A TL-29 with a blade regrind, and some micarta, and a little Camco Scout Knife that I re-scaled in buffalo horn out of the dog chew aisle at wallymart.
Don't need a SAK when I'm totin a Camper.

Camco was Camillus' budget brand, but like Squier by Fender, and Epiphone by Gibson guitars, they can bring quality to the masses. Good 1095 steel, and just right springs. I guess the handle materials was where they cut corners. This one had jigged plastic scales.

Today is the Marine Corps 250th birthday. I figured it’d be a bit strange to wear my Kabar into the office so this little Victorinox will have to do. It’ll be accompanied by my newest purchase. Semper Fi to all you Devil Dogs!!

SAK of the Week is not a Swiss Army Knife, but it is a Victorinox product. They call it a folding paring knife; this one has a serrated edge. (I also have one with a plain edge, and both knives are fantastic. I decided the plain edge one, which is the first one I bought, would be in my Top Ten SAKs list, but this serrated one could easily take its place on that "honor roll".)

Stockman of the Week is a Rough Rider amber jigged bone sowbelly stockman. It's the first sowbelly I ever handled, and I was hooked on the pattern from the first time I carried it.

30F and sunny. It was 24F when I got up this morning. I believe it's the coldest we've been so far this fall. Time to find my winter coat, hat, gloves, ice scrapers...
...I'm ready for spring :D

Mike, like you, I'm ready for spring but I know I'll have to maintain my state of readiness for quite a while. 🤓
This morning, I took the dog out at 5:40 into 20˚F temp (8˚F windchill) with an inch of snow on the grass (sidewalks and streets were snow-free, though). I'm eagerly anticipating high temps in the 50s later this week!

Here's a couple of hot knives basking in the summer sun (several summers ago):

Had the Cuban with me for a day out with my wife yesterday enjoying some fall colors and good food.

Modoc ED Modoc ED hope Abby feels better quick. Of course I’m sure she’ll be back into something else as soon as she does 🤣

Seems like we both had the same idea today as I also have an 86 acorn in the pocket today. Hope everyone had a good weekend!
