What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Fester, that sure reminds me of this old knife from a local maker (Barry Bybee) from the late 60's that I picked up this summer. Who made yours, if you don't mind me asking?

Sorry, this is pre-cleaning, and the best pic I had access to at the moment.

And for today's carry, the #66 has been forsaken for a 2nd day in a row, this time to this old VOOS. I think it understands on some level. ;)

My shop is slow today, so I thought my time would be much better spent hanging out with my dogs. I have a pair of Jerry Halfrich made knives with me, Hidalgo in Mike Norris damascus and a Jack Russell in M4 tool steel. Paul Long sheath.

Nice knives Duane. Great work on that Buck, it looks beautiful, and what a great-looking pocket-sheath! :)

Thank You Jack :) I like the wallet style pocket sheath, I got the idea from the AG Russell Woods Walker ;)

Thanks Duane :)

It is some kind of rosewood, I think. The knife has a closed length 9cm - roundabout 3 7/8".

I really like the knife, I got the similar pattern with stag scales too. Great knives!

Thank You Kris, and same to you! That sheath for the Jack Russel sure is spot on  it catches my eye every time you post it.
