I'm overdoing it a bit today. My new-to-me Kabar, with its experimental beer and potato patina, my almost new Barlow, because I love Barlows and it's so long since I bought an unused knife in its box, and the Case because I'm trying to like the Wharncliffe.

I'm not liking the Wharnie yet.

A Camillus made in New York, gifted me by Stich from Massachussets, posing on some PuErh Tea made in Yunnan, brewed in a glass from California, below a Van from Germany, whose tires come from Finland. 3 states and 4 countries in one post:-)

I've got my 2012 Forum Knife with me.

I took the kicks down as much as I could on both blades. It's something I had thought about doing for a while now. I was hesitant because I figured it would affect the backsprings in the closed position. The tip of the wharcliffe was very close to protruding anyway, so I just decided to go for it.

The springs now sit a hair low when closed, but the improved comfort in hand during use makes it worth it IMO.
