Partly cloudy and sunny today here in the City by the Bay! Well my third grandchild arrived this morning at 12:30 and weighed in at 8 pounds 5 ounces. Both mom dad and baby are doing great! Yesterday Postie Mike delivered this beauty. The Macassar Ebony handles are stunning! Have a great day folks! 😀
Congratulations!

Winter is weeds in San Diego. Yesterday was weedwacking day. Sadly, no pre-wack poo patrol was needed. We had to say goodby to our girl last August. A Pioneer was in my pocket. (Blue tassel)

Today was "pull weeds in the front yard day"
A Case full size Sodbuster was along for moral support. (Does anyone else feel that the full size has a better point on it than the mini?)

A proper old English penknife from TEW arrived today.

This is is made to be used, low cost with nothing fancy in the way.

I cleaned and smoothed the metal bits then flushed and oiled.

The rivets are flat and smooth,it’s mechanicaly sound.

I put lots of coats of oil on the wood.

It opens easy,no blade wobble it cuts like no other.

I didn’t touch the blade,take a look at how thin it’s sliced a grape. 😁

Aww cute Russian Grey! What’s its name? My family has one and he is named Gandalf the Grey.
She is a sweetie. One of a pack of feral cats my wife has domesticated and made into our herd. We gave her the most creative name Gray Kitty. She has an identical twin who only comes to the back door. We call her Back Gray Kitty. I have shortened them to “Grakitty” and “Backitty.” 😹
