What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

My Dad passed away last Thursday afternoon, not unexpectedly. So I've been busy with family stuff since then; his funeral and burial were yesterday.

I haven't posted much since last week. II'll probably post more knives than I usually do for a couple of days to "catch up".

Canoes of the Week are both Rough Riders. One is an amber jigged bone model that is the first canoe I ever handled, and I fell for the pattern hook, line, and sinker! The other is a Tobacco Road canoe from RR.

- even though it wasn't unexpected, still a shock. Very sorry for your loss - deepest sympathies to you and your family.

I have been using this one all day.

Last week I bought some Baileys and put it in the fridge and shot glasses in the freezer.

16.00 I felt like a we tot,it was delicious it reminded me of…

One Christmas in the camp bar 40 years ago my mate went up and ordered a double Baileys for us.

Next round I ordered double doubles and so on until we ended up on half pints of the stuff (you can’t go back on beer after).😊

He got so drunk after the bar shut he ran into the Barb wire on the parade square were they had secured the cars of the troops over in Northern Ireland.🫣

They banned any more than a double after that, they had already banned Alcaholic Draughts which was a killer I had collapsed playing it.😇

Even when it's not unexpected, that kind of loss is tough. I'm sorry to hear about this, GT; we'll be praying for you and and your loved ones.
