What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Snowed maybe an inch and a half late yesterday afternoon just before dark but the sun is out this morning so it'll be gone in a couple/three hours but Hey!!! it counts for a White Christmas. I even got to phone and talk to by departed Sister's son and daughter and their children and grand children in Augusta, Georgia. Carrying this Tribal Lock today. Hash and eggs for breakfast.

I thought I'd take a shot of one of my Always On Me SAKs by my creek.
Ok, it's not really a creek, it's a Ditch. That's what they call the man made "creeks" that are fed by field tiles in farm fields. But one of the big Black Willows has a huge root cutting across the ditch, forming a little dam. In wet months, the water piles up about a foot and a half deep above the dam. And as it flows over the root dam on it's way to the pond, it babbles and gurgles like a mountain creek. Love the sound. I should record it for bedtime.
I won't be sleeping by it though, because coyotes cut through there a lot.

Yeah. We have one of those private neighbors chat groups. A few months ago, one of the ladies posted "Bring in your dogs! A wolf just ran through my yard!"

We take our entertainment where we can get it here.

Of course, the occasional Lost Cat signs carry a sad implication.
Lol well it's all fun and games until some kid loses their little friends
Then it's not so fun 😕

AusLoX AusLoX Ahhhhh Temecula. Used to drive through there on 15/215 traveling North from Imperial Beach then on 395 to Alturas. I remember when houses in Temecula were cosidered to be wayyyyyy out in the boonies and started around $35,000. Bet it's not so today.
Wow that was quite a while back. It’s turned into wine country and lots of houses. Closing in the gap from Orange County to San Diego.
