Oh don’t worry, it only looks that way now because I just had to remove everything from the desk to replace it, and it gave the time to clean up what I never would’ve 😅
The wife also “helped” me by clearing away a lot of my “clutter”…gotta find some new ones 🤣
She even had me put my knives in boxes, can you believe it? 😂
I liked having them out and lose like this (apologies for the modern ones scattered in here)

Give it a few years, and I’m sure this one will be looking not too far off from the clutter of the last one.

I originally got a standing desk just because I am apparently a giant (even though I’m only 6’1”) and they don’t make a desk that is comfortable for me to sit in anymore, so I wanted one where I could pick the height. I still have my chair, but I was surprised by how comfortable it was to stand while I worked, so I’ve been giving it a try. I’ve always been one to stand and pace while I talk on the phone, so this has worked out nicely for meetings.
The cup holder was a freebie they threw in for the desk, and I rolled my eyes at it, but hey, no use throwing it away. My big coffee mug doesn’t fit in it though so there will still be chances for the stains of a well-distinguished desk! 🤣

I will say, there’s something about a well-used desk that just can’t be beat, but this is one thing they genuinely don’t make like they used to anymore.
One day I hope mine looks close to as good as yours!

Yknow I thought something looked familiar here… pretty sure I have the exact same desk as you 😂 I actually just “cleaned” it a bit last night but it’s still a bit cluttered.
