That is a nice design! What are the dimensions if you dont mind?

It's 3.5 closed, 2.75 blade with 2.5 in cutting edge. Basically it's a jazzed up GEC 15 that's a little bit bulkier (blade is wider, so are scales). Very pocketable.

Back to an old standby of mine today. It's one of those knives that when I carry it, I wonder why it was I bought all of those other ones.

Thanks Toddwalla, mine came kind of dull and I'm not a great sharpener. How did you do yours? Would a sharpmaker work?

The sharp maker would work, but it would take a long time (it is great for maintaining an edge, but not for reprofiling). I used a more aggressive diamond stone to thin out the edge a bit and then finished up with the sharp maker and strop. I am not the best sharpener either, but I have good luck with using a course stone before moving to the sharp maker. There are some great threads on sharpening in the maintenance forum, and some specific to GEC made knives in this forum. I'll see if I can find the ones I have found helpful for you...

Just putting it out there, if you guys needed a reprofile on an edge, I'd be happy to on my Wicked Edge. I just reprofiled two GEC Boys knives, the EO Scout and spearpoint/pen. The 1095 on that came off really nicely without much trouble. I usually take them down below 20 degrees per side, so a touch up on a Sharpmaker is quick and easy. I do that for most of my knives these days.

Today, I'm trying out the GEC Boys knife, EO 2 blade. It's...niiiiice.

It´s about six o'clock in mornin nows and I´m waiting for a buddy of mine. We want to go to the woods and making firewood. All the stuff like chainsaws, fuel, tools, axes, hooks etc etc were almost packed yesterday.

As a knife, the GEC Bullnose will ride the jacket pocket today :) (without the other stuff pictured)
