I thought that might catch your eye, Jim. When I was a boy, the BSA in Circle Ten Council area, which is north Texas district, did a winter camp in the 1980s for advanced / experienced scouts which was all Mountain Man stuff. We erected and slept in these great big teepees and made lean-to lodges, only flint & steel fire-starting, learned brain tanning leather, blacksmithing, tomahawk throwing, and black powder rifle shooting. It was great. I had so much fun I went back as a junior leader the year after I got my Eagle Scout. My mom kept the patch a long with a whole pile of other crap I thought was lost forever. What’s the story on that patch, Dave?
