What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Cindy and I still not up to snuff. I'll just fiddle around with this Ebony English Bunny today - this one by A.Wright as an SFO. ???? for breakfast.

It does linger, Ed. Just keep takin it easy!
Good chance to put off all those chores, get out the oilstones and the Sharpmaker.
My, how someone has grown!!
Nice trio Jeff, especially the Case
Yessir ~ 52+lb, and cutting his big boy teeth. Found two puppy teeth on the floor.
I tried to explain how the Tooth Fairy would leave him a chew under his cushion, but don't think he grasped the concept.
One thing I like about this Case is that it is not a nail breaker like so many TL-29s. Funny how that matters these days...

Another beautiful day here in the City by the Bay! Not a cloud in the sky which means it will warm up nicely into the upper sixties. I knew there was a reason why I moved here from Nebraska over forty years ago and I still get a kick out of it being springtime in January and February. Anyway keeping me company with a nod to Wooden Wednesday a couple of lambs from across the Pond in Yorkshire Oak and Yew. Have a great day folks! ๐Ÿ˜€View attachment 3095983View attachment 3095984

If I dated the Russell barlow correctly, it's from somewhere between 1933 and 1941; it's also been sharpened (and polished) with a grinder. In spite of age and abuse, it's still tight, has a good snap, and works quite well as a pocket knife (although I do try to baby it a bit).

The A. Wright sheepsfoot needs no babying. This is a a solid, no nonsense, let's-get-the-job-done knife.
