Another beautiful day here in the City by the Bay! Not a cloud in the sky which means it will warm up nicely into the upper sixties. I knew there was a reason why I moved here from Nebraska over forty years ago and I still get a kick out of it being springtime in January and February. Anyway keeping me company with a nod to Wooden Wednesday a couple of lambs from across the Pond in Yorkshire Oak and Yew. Have a great day folks! 😀IMG_0191.jpegIMG_0190.jpeg

Case Knife of the Week is an amber bone Sodbuster Jr. that I picked out of mrknife mrknife 's never-ending GAW when I won its 2nd or 3rd round way back when.

Colonial/Imperial/Schrade Knife of the Week is a Colonial Forest-Master, the first knife I ever owned from back around 1960.

If I dated the Russell barlow correctly, it's from somewhere between 1933 and 1941; it's also been sharpened (and polished) with a grinder. In spite of age and abuse, it's still tight, has a good snap, and works quite well as a pocket knife (although I do try to baby it a bit).

The A. Wright sheepsfoot needs no babying. This is a a solid, no nonsense, let's-get-the-job-done knife.
