What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Bonus pic for Modoc ED Modoc ED ~ we went in with five other families on a dumpster. It's easier to put our trash in the car and drive 1/4 mile up the road than wheel the cans back and forth down the driveway. And we're saving a lot of $.

Amir Fleschwund Amir Fleschwund Jeff - I just love our dumpster and it's a time for celebration when they come to empty it. That's a Buck knife on the board in the first picture.

Heavy rain and wind woke me this morning at 4 AM and again later. I believe the proper term is, "squalls".

One up from the bottom, a Camillus full size trapper today with its yellow brass hardware.

I was out filling up my bird feeders and a red-shoulder hawk was across the street high up in a tree raising all kinds of hell. I ran down and grabbed my camera and just got focused just in time for the male to come swooping down from above and had his way with her. A little postcoital small talk, "Was it good for you?" I expected cigarettes to be brought out. And just like that, he was off, hopefully to work on the nest like he promised.

Right place, right time. That’s cool! Always interesting to see nature at work.
