What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Another Wharncliffe Copperhead today, this a one full sized two-spring knife. The spring on the Wharncliffe blade isn't quite flat in the opened position, but not enough to be a bother. RED G10 and Tru-Sharp.

Do those friction folders sometimes partially open in your pocket? That would not be good.
Yes, that is the risk if the pivot is too loose. I always have a pocket sheath for friction folders. Actually I like to have pocket sheath for all of my folders, but with friction folders it is a must. I also check the pivot tightness and adjust if needed, but with Opinels and such the adjustment is done with a ball peen hammer.
