What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

We left the house this morning at 5:55. I wanted to be on the water by 7:15. When we rolled up to the boat launch, the lake was frozen shore to shore!🤬 So we drove to another lake; same 💩! Now I’m at home sulking with this #72 in my pocket; of course I had my fishing knife, the Vic PioneerX with me this morning.

Does a SAK count as traditional? This model is basically a classic scout pattern. I got a bunch of these Dutch contract knives for pennies, other than some scuffs and scratches, they were in pretty decent shape. It only took a bit of cleaning and sharpening to get them back in good nick.

Another Mediterranean day here in the City by the Bay 🌞. Highs in the mid seventies with a gentle breeze. Heading out shortly for our weekly pilgrimage to the grocery store. Along for the ride with a nod to Stag Saturday one of these beauties. Have a great weekend folks! 😀

Had clam chowder and the seafood plate at the Wagon Wheel Cafe as planned yesterday but exceptionally hot horseradish based cocktail sauce had me toe tapping and tap dancing out the Wago Wheel Cafe's door. The cocktail sauce worked it's way into some scaring from my jaw replacement surgery so today, I'm staying home and having scrambled eggs for breakfast. While relaxing in my recliner, I'll chicken eye and coon finger this Rosecraft Pere David Stag Gunstock.
