Todays Carry is one that I seldom carry , but is one that I really like and was very surprised to find a few years back at the Badger Blade Show .
An authentic Cripple Creek Split Back Whittler made in 1986 .

You can post Stag on any day that ends with a " Y "

Love the old school treatment of the split back Harry.👍🏻
Thank you Bob .
I am a big fan of Splitbacks but the Downside of them is the Tapering Down of the Blade Well makes you have to Open the Main Blade before you open a Small Blade in order to keep from having very noticeable Blade Rub . I can still remember buying this one from an Old Guy and his wife who only had a couple of knives to sell . And they even had the original box for the knife . Since I have had it , it has Never Cut anything .
Be good my friend , but if you can't be good , be careful .

A couple of spring-colored Rough Riders are my Canoes of the Week. The weather guy on TV this morning said March 1 is the start of "meteorological spring" but it's just a coincidence that these two canoes happen to be up for carry this week.

A green-as-spring-grass Stroke of Luck canoe (that I ought to bring out again in a couple of weeks for St. Patrick's Day):

A foggy start to the day here in the City by the Bay 🌁. It’s already starting to burn off so by early afternoon the sun will be shining 🤞. Just a relaxing Sunday with a couple of stockman friends. The Modoc Special as always on a Sunday and Chuck Buck for a change. Have a great day folks! 😀
