Is this one of Cooper's NY runs? That is a very nice looking knife.

A group of us took an old colleague of ours to lunch today. The man's 87 years old and still plants 50 acres in corn and soybeans and has a dozen cows, two of which are ready to calve  First cheeseburger I've had in months. It never occurred to me to take a pic of it, but it looked like this: 🍔

Starting to see some green in the woods

Great looking burger! Even better SAK shot! 🇨🇭

Is that Padouk?
What is the wooden object? A sling shot or a cross? John

Like that Cat 225Q! John
Thank you, John!
I haven't carried this Craftsman since I realized it doesn't have pins so it must be a Schrade instead of a Camillus. But it turns out it does have pins, they're just really well polished.

Yeahbut, why you no like Schrades, Bro?
I bought the medium Craftsman Stockman like that when I worked at Sears 50 years (!) ago. Carried it a lot. Later bought the big one to match, but gave it to my son, along with a TL-29, and an SAK, along with a stag handled fixed blade I'd made out of a file. I wanted him to have the essentials.

About a year later, visiting him, I found it in a kitchen drawer, rusty. I cleaned it up and coated it with bacon grease like an old .mil rifle dipped in cosmolene.
