What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I had a routine follow-up appointment with my pulmonologist this morning. She wants to see me every three months or so. I think she likes me 😇
After I escaped from the clutches of the medical complex. I stopped by the grocery store and picked up some meatloaf for dinner tonight...or maybe this afternoon considering how good it smelled in the car on the drive home food.gif

It is a comfort cross. Folks in the carving club make them and gift them to folks in long term care facilities. This one is purple heart.

I remember reading many years ago about "Worry Stones" actually made of wood, I think being used in Greece. Rubbing them actually produced a mild aroma and soothed the person rubbing that piece of wood. I like the idea of the cross, and that people make them to give to people in assisted living facilities, and think they wood also sooth the person and as mentioned help with arthritic hands. John
