What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thanks guys! Jack, that doesn't look too awefully bad...that edge could still be sharpened as is and serve for many years to come, of course it could also be leveled again, but that would remove some of its character ;)

Jack - I notice that two other posters have already used the term "character" in reference to your Taylor, which is what I had planned to comment on. It absolutely oozes character!

It being Friday, I'm carrying my 'Friday' knife.

It's worse than the pictures show I'm afraid, whoever last had hold of this knife did some terribly clumsy work. It's sharp now, and the steel is still good thankfully, but the lower part of the blade is a mess, particularly on one side, and putting it right would mean losing too much of the steel unfortunately. The worst thing about it is that the worst damage was clearly done relatively recently. Before that I guess it had been well used, but still looked after. The build quality is great, and it has great walk and talk. It's still so solid, oil just sits inside the well like a little swimming pool! Despite the damage, it's still one of my favourites, and the blade will hopefully look a bit better after some use.

Thank you very much, I really love these old knives :)

These two today. The trapper was acquired through the pay if forward thread. Thanks again camoninja! The EKA is from one of our own. Thanks Dave.

I like this picture.
Well Done.

Thanks Deskil! Believe it or not it was taken with my iPhone on a crappy old piece of MDF that covers my 4x8 trailer in the backyard. Turned out rather well I think! The smooth chestnut bone covers are awesome on that knife.
