Just love this one!! How long is it closed?

No, thank you! ;) Glad it's found a good home with you. Looks way better now!

Some time I'm going to have to ask you to do one for me, when I find the perfect candidate. :D

SAK Guy, I'm with Gev - that one's great! Also interested to know more about it.

3 5/8"...the main blade is about 3". Got it at a yard sale about 5 years ago....2 bucks. I read somewhere that it was a rare pattern.

Some company made a copy of it 6-7 years ago as I found those when I was initially researching this one. I can't find my saved files right now but the copy was a 150.00-200.00 knife....

I have a link to another forum with some info on this pattern but do not know if it's ok to post it....

Beautiful! These new Mammoth Ivory Northwoods with the Wharncliffe blades have me interested in possibly picking one up. How is the pull on yours?

Carrying these two again today..

[/IMG]Burnside, Fairly light for a GEC, a five? Good half stop. You can pinch it open.
Excellent fit and finish, springs are flush in all three positions which is rather rare these days.

I was under the impression that these didn't have a half stop...my wallet is crying out in pain. Nice mammoth on yours.

Thanks Sonnemann, I sweated over the pics on Derricks site for an hour before choosing. There are a half dozen others that I wouldn't mind having.
