What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

One of my favourite Wengers, from the "Swiss Professional" series. Made in 1983. I wouldn't mind finding a couple more of these.

Where in Saskatchewan are you going to be? A son of one of my cousin's runs a bear hunting camp, I believe on Smoothstone Lake?, or maybe Sled Lake? I live in Saskatoon, myself.

I believe you have that wrong. Manitoba is next to Saskatchewan.
What I am carrying today.

Somewhere to the southwest of Buffalo narrows. I don’t know the precise location as I will be meeting up with a couple of buddies and going into camp from Meadow Lake.

Wow~kind of rare. I should look for one of these since I've always favored the underdog Wenger over Victorinox.
A couple of years ago, I homed in on the current production Victorinox "7", aka: Harvester in alox with that exact set of blades. I thought it would be my ideal garden knife. And it is.

Thanks for showing me something I'd never seen!

See that Jimmy Nardello pepper? I've been growing those for several years, and saving the seeds. It's a sweet grilling pepper ~ not a hot pepper ~ and has turned out to be one of our favorites. Super productive. I may have part of a gallon freezer bag left in the freezer.
In my rush to get a few things planted before my knee surgery, I just direct seeded a row instead of starting seeds indoors to transplant. Have not ventured out to see if they've germinated yet. Not sure they will, but our current hot spell should help.
For you hot pepper eaters, I also threw in some Cayenne and Poblano seeds.

Got these little gems in yesterday from Brent Graaf (Clever Knives)! He does some amazing work, and I couldn't be happier with how these turned out. Had a stainless blade and backspring swap for the 14 boy's knife, and the lockback was completely custom and made to order. My first but definitely not my last order from him.
