A rainy start to the day here in the City by the Bay🌧️. It’s a bit unusual for this time of year here in the Bay Area but not unheard of. Anyway keeping me company a lamb and a ham. Have a great day folks! 😀

Oh my 🤩 The K'roo is drop dead gorgeous :thumbsup::thumbsup: They do such nice work

And the Case 😲 The brushed blade (much better than polished), the white bone, the dimpled (contoured? I don't know what its called) bolster, I don't think I've ever seen that combination on any Case. And then to see it on a single blade sowbelly...its just beauty sweetie.gif 😍

I gush, but those are both wonderful 👍

Mowed this afternoon. After all the rain last week we had several nice warm days of sunshine and the grass just ate it up. I'm pretty sure some of that stuff grew 6 inches in the last couple of days 😲
It was hot and humid, but there was a nice breeze and some cloud cover, so all-in-all not a bad day to be riding around on the mower.

I carried a Case 2318pu in good old cv steel and synthetic ebony. Its a good one and an old favorite 🙂

Snapped a couple different shots of my recently acquired Case red bone barlow from the Neverending GAW split. I fawned over the red bone barlows when they pop up here.

It needed some moderate blade restoration. Reprofiled the hollow edge on the clip and a belt satin regrind to remove significant pitting on both blades. The nail nick on the pen blade is a little shallow now because my refinish job took a hair too much off the spine area, but I can still get it open.

I was not sure it was a keeper, but the bone was too nice to let go. After the refinish I like it 10x more, so I expect for it to be a common carry. Good thing case had some extra width on these barlow blades for me to work with. It doesnt look 1/2 bad.
