What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

The springs are mild, perhaps a 3 on a scale of 1-10. But, with the addition of a bit of oil they have a nice snap to opened and closed.
The pen and coping blade are smallish. I don't like fighting to open and close small blades, they win too often. So I'm fine with the milder pulls on this one.

I can feel there's some more grit to be removed. Once all the grit is out, they should be very nice, indeed.

Thanks for the added detail, Frank. I know what you mean about small blades with strong(er) pulls. Sounds a great knife!

Calico Bone is my new favorite.

If GEC ever wanted to reintroduce the #54 Big Jack in Calico Bone. I'd be all over it. (Hint hint)

Some beautiful knives today folks :)

I'm carrying these two today.

It wouldn't be just the wood getting fired if I did Gev.

#53, specifically '#531212' (Smooth) Buffalo Scales.

Its a firm favorite of mine and was my first GEC (I should have stopped at it too ).

Hot Dawg!

Been wanting a moose for some time. Not sure if I should get the size smaller or not. Nice.

Today, back at the wallet series with a Canoe.

My little DAVID aka Case Peanut has a new friend, called Goliath aka HUBERTUS 13.334.H.00 (4.5 inch closed, 3.5 inch blade)
David takes care of 95% of the job, Goliath does the heavy rest!

I have bought it inside the HUBERTUS factory store in Solingen - it's NOS from the 1950th and a real treasure :)

It has typical german-silver bolsters, called "Hahnekopp", that means something like "roosters head".
