What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Believe me,It will see some pocket time. My hand goes to it like a magnet.:)
It has a nice ring to it walking and talking.I've been driving the wife crazy with it. " Will you put that thing down?" she says...LOL

Shoot if it was me she would be jealous cause I'd be touching it more than her...

Today is a fresh from the wrap Queen Canoe. My first Queen and my first in D2. It lost its pocket virginity at about 5 this morning. :D

I am carrying a GEC #54 Big Jack, which they call their big horn, which is also a moose/mutant muskrat. I don't know what to call it, i even referred to Kerry's "What's a moose?" thread, and I think it is a bullhead, or something. It has two beefy clip blades, and great gnarly stag.

found a picture of one from knivesshipfree so y'all can see what they look like, this is not mine. Hopefully derrick won't mind sharing the pic.

Today, although it was very hot and humid, I put my Case Swayback (CV blades) in my watch pocket. It saw quite a bit of use, the main blade held up fine (it's covered in a thick patina) but the smaller pen blade was covered in rust spots when I took it out of my pocket a couple of hours ago.

S&M harness jack.

Just got this little Texas Jack in amber bone with CV blades. It had a bit of a "wire" out of the box, so a couple of swipes on my kitchen steel and it's shaving sharp. Straight into the watch pocket it went.

I like how the jigging wraps around the radius on the top of the scale. Never seen that before.

You can see the jigging again from the top, and the blades lay pretty straight, too. I LIKE !!

EDC'd this 1975 Case Canoe pattern #62131 when they were still produced with a single back-spring that gives a nice slim pocket carry and of coarse the Native American - Canoe etch on the hi-carbon steel as standard. I have not used a stone/hone on this knife in a dogs age but rather just a few stope swipes on dry leather brings this gal back nice and sharp. My all time favorite Canoe pattern by far..

Very nice Canoe Anthony. I can see what it is your favorite. I was watching one on ebay that looked a lot like yours. But I was about 5 seconds to late to bid. :grumpy:

Today I carried my 6347 Amber Bone Stockman.

Bill

I love that etching on the canoe. Can hardly see the etching on mine. Indian paddling through the fog (patina).

Got my peanut and trusty Opinel #8 today:

Hey there Bill,
Thanks for the comments kind sir. The Case #6347 in Amber Bone is a fine Stockman indeed. I just gifted a brand new one I had purchased for my Son this year for Christmas and he has had it in his pocket ever since. :)
