What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

@sitflyer

Because i live only a few minutes away from the old factories, where all these wonderful (Solingen) knives are made, it's that easy, to search for the best... and find them :)
That is very cool! And I for one, am glad that you find them and share them with all of us here :)

Cheap knife-show Ulster Scout, kind of a fixer-upper with one faded scale (this side), but a good full blade.

There's that peanut again. :p So if I carry my chestnut bone for two years in pocket, it will age like this?

I guess it would look even more worn if I tossed it in my pocket with other items, I've always carried mine in my coin pocket with my Zippo like this, had one peanut induced blowout.

Recently picked up this smooth '74 3318HE. Blades really walk and talk and has great pocket worn feel. I've been using this a lot along with a 61OT. Really like the carbon blades on the Schrade and this is a great pattern. Merry Christmas!

I've carried my boy's knife all week. A couple days ago, I really put it in a bad spot and got black sealer on the blade. I wiped it off with a rag, but there is definitely a rubbery residue on the blade that I now have to remove. It's just a rite of passage for the knife though and now it has really gotten it's "goo" merit badge.

I'll try to get a decent picture of the blade before I tackle the de-goo-ing of the blade. It still works fine for normal every day knifing even with the "goo" on the blade. It may be difficult to remove, I don't know. I'll probably use lacquer thinner, but I have to be careful around the Nife Brite covers with that stuff.

Just received a couple of new Tina's in the post , just in time for Christmas .
I've got a couple more coming , they are the same model as the older knife in the picture , it is my all time favorite knife.
The fixed blade one will be my leather making knife , the others will be carried daily .
