Tell us more bout this one Gev!

Yes, Inquiring minds want to know.

Perry and Simple Man

It's a Walden/Knife Co/N.Y.
c. 1874-1923

I suspect in the later part of that time frame. I got it out today for the Shapleigh thread where I first posted it and decided to take some more pictures. Very strong snap on both blades and only one minor chip

( The glass is one of a set for Fausto and Duncan. More pieces will be added in copper and glass)

Sonneman,

Great pic and composition :)

Question ref the Esquire? How's that scalloping? I assume it's "soft"/rounded as to not be an irritation in handling or wear holes in the pocket? Your commentary on this would be appreciated. :)

Thanks guys. The scalloping/coining is not real aggressive, though in its brand new state it is actually akin to what on modern folders some have called 'jimping'...it does lend a deal of grippiness but i imagine it will smooth down pretty quickly in the pocket, especially because nickel silver is not the most resilient of materials. I'm happy with the knife overall.
