Beautiful stag carry's today, Gary

Two in Paua for me, on this cold and snowy day. These two should come in handy to cut up a 5lb chuck roast and fixins for some Texas chili.

I love that fixed blade. Every angle is a good angle on that one.

I like carrying that one, Kevin. It's a very robust little knife and the 1084 steel sharpens up real easy and keeps a good edge. Made by Mace Vitale.

Wow, I didn't realize it is 1084. You can tell you really take amazing care of that one! It looks really easy to sharpen with those beautiful main grinds.

Kris,
amazing knives! I had never seen that version of the CSC fixed blade. I have been thinking about that knife more than once, should I ever find one with wooden handles. Yours looks awesome...and the Coats swayback is just wonderful.
As for me, I'm back home, so my Oeser got back into my pocket ;)

It's got a few spots on it, but I keep it cleaned and oiled. I'm not a big patina fan. The copper liners have taken on more of a patina then the blade. It's got a convex grind on it that I've been able to maintain very easily.

Thanks for the info, it's awesome!

Fausto, WOW!

Some really nice arrivals yesterday and today. An old cutler jack with a matchstrike pull im in love with. A well loved GEC 66 in pumpkin patch acrylic that I have been lusting over for a few years now. Last but certainly not least 2013 BF congress jack. Has the nicest pull since my Eureka jack and came hair popping sharp out the box.

Well done GEC...the only GEC I have not had to sharpen out the box

Thanks Fausto, they come with a nice wet formed leather sheath and the 440c came sharp and seems like a quality heat treat. Beautiful Oeser !
