Did a little reading and apple cutting during my lunch break today. The 85 got selected for the task...still havent been brave enough to start a patina on the congress jack. Also the first knife I have carried in the sheath...paper micarta gets marked up to easily by my keys.

Are these knives used at all or show pieces? They look brand new and never used.

Pic was taken when they were new. The TJ still looks pretty much like that still but I have used the desk knife quite a bit.

I drove down to Little Rock today for the Arkansas Custom Knife Show, saw some fabulous steel, stag, ivory and pearl tonight. Brought my new old Queen swell center jack.

My second Pallaresa arrived yesterday. This one has a green Micarta handle - no liners. The handle is cut from one piece of Micarta - and the backspring is extremely strong. No play in any direction, the Micarta seems quite strong. It's marketed as a light hunter, and I think it's just right for that. If you need more, you probably don't want a folder, anyway.
