What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Kris, love how you pair up a fixed blade with a folder ... makes me want more fixed blades!

Pretty cold for pictures today but I have been neglecting this fine slimline Brewer too long.

Strange angle but wanted to show the filework.

Beautiful knife John!

Case/Bose tribal spear, I've jonesed for one of these for a real long time.....Love it!:D

I am SO jealous. I love that knife!!!

Got this one today, funny that the blister pack has a big 1 next to the word Function ;) pretty simplistic folder called a Day Packer by Swiss Army Knives
a little more handle than blade, makes for more control, grind is a little funky I guess it's a chiseledged version of theirs like their florist knives, arrived pretty sharp though.

For wooden Wednesday, carrying the Le Thiers Compact in juniper wood.

Yep, pretty much what everyone else has said, a beauty right there plus it has a peppery smell I'm told?

Had the 55 today. Might be the last day for a little while though, my viper just arrived :D

I feel your pain, sir! I carried my #47 today but I'm on the fence about which I like better between it and the #55... yeah, it's kind of a nice problem to have! :D

It is indeed my friend :)

Great picture as always, I really dig the green micarta. Kind of hoping GEC starts using more canvas as well.

Keep us posted on how your problem works out

Just got this beauty, my second GEC. It took me a while to get warmed up to traditional knives and now I don't think I'll ever leave home without one. When I put this knife in my hand it screams to be used.

Gary

That looks a lot like a Budding - Grafting knife .
My all time favourite knife is a Tina Grafting knife with a chisel edge .
The short blade to long handle is in my view a great feature of those sorts of knives , and one that more knife makers should take notice of .
I didn't know victorinox made such a knife .
