What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

A thing of beauty is a joy for ever:
Its lovliness increases; it will never
Pass into nothingness; but still will keep
A bower quiet for us, and a sleep
Full of sweet dreams, and health, and quiet breathing.
Therefore, on every morrow, are we wreathing
A flowery band to bind us to the earth...

I love it when that single spey pops ups! Great looking knife. It was that guy that pushed me over the edge and purchase one of the spey charlows! Great pic as always

Very cool to hear! It's definitely one of my favorites. The spey Charlows are sooooo nice. I thought the comparison of old and new would show off the genius of the 15.

Thank you for your comment, Jon. I never thought I would say this but I sure do like that wharncliffe blade all shiny!! What a knife!

I've left to a subtle clue in this photo to help you guess who gifted me these wonderful J. Howarth Pen & TYNE knives yesterday ;)

Both these styles are a first.....can you believe, I didn't have a classic Sheffield penknife until yesterday? This is a really smashing example.
When I have the time, I shall take some more photo's to share the great build and quality of this knife and show off some more of the unique TYNE knife too.

A huge thanks to you know who :)

Scruff, check out the links and info on James Howarth in the Tyne knife thread I posted earlier
