Today, this little knife bounced out of the mail truck and into my hands.
It's one of the Queen City economy-range knives that Queen put out a few years back, in black or yellow jigged delrin and "wine wood" (lol). This is my first gunstock, and my only "Yeller" knife, aside from my grandfather's old shell-wrap fishing knife (which doesn't get carried...).
For a $35 knife, this one is a real home run. Half stops with springs that are purt-near flush in all 3 positions, amazing walk & talk, no gaps or bends, beautifully ground blades with drawn swedges on both sides, 1095 steel, pile side pen - and a nice large one at that... Even came out of the box with a serviceable edge on both blades! I'm pumped!!!
She may not win any beauty pageants, standing next to a nice wood or bone, but darn nice in my eyes. Super-duper value, great bang for the buck.

Just got my Bull Nose over the weekend (black delrin). It's one fantastic knife. I really like the micarta handles - they look great on this knife. Must see if I can locate one for myself.

A new run of micarta 71s are available at collectorknives.

I've got my trusty 72 with me at the office today!

I really like that small 'un Gary. Ohta has not only real skill but versatility too. I'm hoping to get another one of his knives later this year, a Japanese traditional style.
