That is an awesome knife Primble! You say 1930's-1940's but from what Tony Bose has said, and I quote "Pre 1930's, hammered pins, not spun, that dates it for me".
I am going to the Old Knife Thread to learn more about it.......hope I didn't :foot: before I commented. Good stuff.![]()
Thanks for showing and have a good one.
Thanks for the compliment on my knives....I missed that post somehow.![]()

The era of this knife is debatable - the guy I purchased it from was a pretty knowledgable knife guy and he said that 1930's to 1940's was his best guess. If T. Bose said something different, I would have to agree with Tony.![]()
Many thanks Jack!Congratulations on your post-count sir, that's an outstanding knife
Thank you Smithhammer, but, the two are both great knives from different eras. I would be proud to carry that ebony Scout any where, any day. You have a bunch of really outstanding knives. :thumbup:Thanks, Primble. But my Scout pales in comparison to that 'ISE' you're carrying today! What a knife!
The Bull Nose has been going everywhere with me this week:
