Thanks, Primble. But my Scout pales in comparison to that 'ISE' you're carrying today! What a knife! :thumbup:

Mixing it up this morning but if I have a cigar this afternoon, substitutions will be made. (I will be working on that Russlock edge too)

That is an awesome knife Primble! :eek: You say 1930's-1940's but from what Tony Bose has said, and I quote "Pre 1930's, hammered pins, not spun, that dates it for me".
I am going to the Old Knife Thread to learn more about it.......hope I didn't :foot: before I commented. Good stuff. :thumbup::)

Thanks for showing and have a good one.

Thanks for the compliment on my knives....I missed that post somehow.:p

The era of this knife is debatable - the guy I purchased it from was a pretty knowledgable knife guy and he said that 1930's to 1940's was his best guess. If T. Bose said something different, I would have to agree with Tony.;)

Thank you Smithhammer, but, the two are both great knives from different eras. I would be proud to carry that ebony Scout any where, any day. You have a bunch of really outstanding knives. :thumbup:

Superlative!! Man o man o man

That means a lot - coming from the guy with a lock on all of those outstanding old knives. ;) Thank you Gevonovich! :)

Really beautiful knife P!! :thumbup::thumbup:

Primble. That is the heater mcgeeter. Just what I needed to see to set my day off right. Going to take the pups for a walk and enjoy some time clambering about out of doors.
