What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I'm carrying this traditional Chinese pattern today - we've had reports of restless tigers in the area:

:D

I would hardly think a non-Damascus Trident would be worth your time Rick but then again, I guess Damascus Tridents are hard to find.

Buck 301, an ok stockman but only carrying it to see if the pattern is usefull to me, quite the lemon though, weak springs and wobbly blades.

I have been toting a Queen whittler for months now , a great everyday knife , use it for opening boxes and cutting up lunch ( after a wipe over of course ).

I'm carrying this one today. Haven't carried in quite some time but when I ran across it last night while rummaging through my knife box, I set it aside to carry today.

I bought it in 1985 and carried it mostly while on Liberty while still in the U.S. Navy.

I'll carry my new Case Appaloosa Bone Handled Barlow tomorrow.

Nice Puma. I've always like them. Good fit and whatnot.

I've been carrying this little guy along with a Queen full sized trapper for about a month. It resides in my 5th pocket and the trapper sits along side my wallet. There is something about the pattern and the gray patina CV blades ... I can't leave home without it.

That's a nice one Elliott. I really like that bone and the Modified Wharncliffe has to be one of the most functional blades out there.

What's the closed length on that Howser?

Gary, it's right at 4" closed. 3.5 ounces in the pocket.

I put the Puma back in my knife box last night and set this one out next to my trousers so I could carry it today.

Good choice Navi, got the same in Stag,Pocket Worn Redbone and Amberbone.

Today it was, CASE Medium Stockman cv in Bonestag. Tomorrow? It will be,er?

It now being Father's Day, I'm carrying the Utica Barlow. Once I lubed it up the action on the main blade improved markedly. Not a bear trap, but usable.

Carried my new Northwoods Straight Jack all day but my Queen Dan Burke Barlow was closer at hand when it came time to eat some late night watermelon.

Love the jigging on the Moore Wharnie Trapper Blues. Today I'm carrying my Menefee Zulu in natural canvas micarta. Here it is next to a Cripple Creek gunstock that I picked up a month or two ago. The Menefee (and his brother) is a bully, it never lets the Cripple Creek go ANYWHERE!
