What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

It now being Father's Day, I'm carrying the Utica Barlow. Once I lubed it up the action on the main blade improved markedly. Not a bear trap, but usable.

Hi,

I like that one. I think there will be a Utica in my future.

I must be really ill. I'm still carrying that Camillus Peanut! After 2 weeks my regulars are starting to get a bit restless.

Even though it's one of my favorite "watch pocket" knives, this little guy, for whatever reason, just hasn't really had much pocket time so I figured it was overdue.

Good choice Jason, single spring is the pocket's friend.

Today it will be Queen Cutlery Muskrat, another 'single'

Thanks William. I can't help but notice that, lately, when I carry a two-bladed knife, it's pretty much always a single spring pattern. You're right on - they're pretty hard to beat when it comes to pocketability and, in this size knife, I don't really feel that I'm losing anything by not having separate springs.

carrying my awsome canoe i won in texasflyfisher's giveaway--just got it in the mail today--my first canoe--beautiful worngroove scales and a nice patina--:D

Just came back from a day hike with the family, it was my daughter's first. I had this on my belt.

If I had that, it would be hard to put it in my pocket. I'd want it in my hand where I could stare at it.

I'm wearing it away one wipe of the chamois at a time...:p;)

Hi all, figured I'd finally post in this thread :). This is some of my ed carry, minus the kabar in the background. My ever faithful Victorinox Soldier, the Buck Creek Stockman,
zippo and measuring tape.. The picture is minus the torch and a couple other things. These 2 photo's made me realise just how much I need a real camera again (SLR)
and tripod *laughs*.

The stag on that Buck Creek looks great. I have an Eye Brand stockman that also has great stag. Is that an older knife or a newer issue?

Hi Blues. Well she's a few years old but still this side of 2000 (unfortunately I can't say much beyond that), bought her when I didn't want to use the 80T. Through use the last
couple months she's starting to develope a nice patina. The handles are great too :D; mind you there have been a lot of very nice knives in this thread.
