Jack, Eric, Corso, Smithhammer - Thank you so very much for your comments on my ole Schrade. I was hoping a few might like it they way I do. :)

Jack - I really liked your mini gunstock and the ivory knives.:)

Erik - I always enjoy your pictures and you know I love that dogs head!:)

Smithhammer - you have some pretty nifty photo skills yourself - and a lot of great knives (not limited to your viper) that I always enjoy seeing!:)

ClutchCarter - I really liked your Lloyd with fish badge! As much as I fish - you would think I might have one similar to that.;)

NO FISH FOR ME TODAY - NOT even a BITE! :grumpy:

MARKKSR - Nice S&M!

Gevo - I like your secret spot.

Got out for a hike with the dogs this morning, and carried my Humphrey Kephart:

Looks like a good choice for a new nut - appears to be a chestnut bone CV peanut - I would take that over yeller!

Looks like Lon is carving himself out quite a niche, pun intended! :D

I really like the "old world feel to this knife" and besides being unique and one of a kind, it is quite beautiful, very striking, and memorable. The wood handle patterns and tones just puts it over the top! What kind of wood was used on this or did he tell you? I would say that your money was wisely invested on this one.;)

You also did the knife justice by finding such a great BG for the photo.

Thanks, Primble. The handle on this one is dark curly maple, and the blade is 1095 steel. 9" overall, with a 4" blade.
