Sporting an Esnyx-modified GEC #15 today with some gorgeous mammoth and bronze, decked out with a caplifter/sheepsfoot combo that has never been produced by GEC itself. I'm loving this one. Thanks Evan!

Thanks. There's something unique about Lon's knives - I feel like I've reached several centuries into the past whenever I pick one up. Yet they're hardly relics or recreations. That Kephart will do anything I need it to.

Looks like Lon is carving himself out quite a niche, pun intended!

I really like the "old world feel to this knife" and besides being unique and one of a kind, it is quite beautiful, very striking, and memorable. The wood handle patterns and tones just puts it over the top! What kind of wood was used on this or did he tell you? I would say that your money was wisely invested on this one.:thumbup:

You also did the knife justice by finding such a great BG for the photo. :thumbup:

Thanks, Primble. The handle on this one is dark curly maple, and the blade is 1095 steel. 9" overall, with a 4" blade. :thumbup:
