I've never seen that bottom Northfields before, love the blade combination and the jigging. What model is it?

Awesome pics.

Shapleigh's Keen Kutter today. Almost worn away but it begs to be carried every now and again. It would be a shame to let that history sit in a drawer somewhere. I'm gentle with her but refuse not to use her.

That's a great knife. I can see why you want to carry it!

Still loving this one.

Yesterday…poor pic of a great knife...

Today…another poor pic of a great knife…

I echo everything Jennifer said, including xceptnl's fine eureka. This is going to be another fine pouch, Jennifer.

I trust you'll follow that track in each direction and tell us here it goes. I wonder if it's a big toy or a small worker. Reminds me of Mrs Peel of course.

This one doesn't go very far I'm afraid, just halfway round the lake below Sandal Castle, something for the kids to ride on :)

Thanks Gev, was one of my Quest trips :) and I'm with you on the Keen Kutter, great looking knife

Thanks guys! Pulled out the jigged bone in hopes that the 92 I ordered in the same covers will arrive in today's mail. It's a slow pace from Derrick to me in the frozen north.

Wow! All the knives on this page are incredible....Primble's Schrade and Jack Black's #66 just resonate with me....Jennifer...as much as I would like to....I just can't bring myself to carving up the baseball glove (MacGregor) that I bought in 1970 and used throughout high school ...

I'm in the restaurant today, so I have a whole roll of knives. But, on my person is an Opinel No. 08 Pruner in Carbone and an Opinel No. 08 Garden Knife. These two are the best paring knives I've found, even if that wasn't the actual intention in their design. For a little heavier slicing use, the Mora Companion also in Carbon steel is on my side.

The total cost for these three knives is less than the cost of one of my chefs knives, but they see more frequent use.
