I can't believe they're discontinuing these either. Good luck finding one like yours (it's exceptional by the way), I've been trying to find one like that and the colors and jigging I've seen lately leave much to be desired. It just makes yours that much more special

Thanks. I agree about the color. Some of the "Chestnut" comes out a sort of pinkish/orangish color. I touched mine up with some brown hair dye.

I was just wishing this morning I had one of the GEC patriot knives this morning when I was trying to decide which knife to carry. :)

At one time I had a #73 single blade slipjoint in the same covers, but gave it to my son-in-law who's in the army.

Wearing Blue today, so this Case Mini Trapper is my Red and White:

And after toting around heavier knives - this one is rapidly becoming my favorite EDC.

Happy 4th of July!

Papa Andi, great minds think alike.
This one, for now, though if I go to the fireworks show, I'll probably switch to a SAK in case someone has a bottle that needs opening.:)

Apparently these are being discontinued? Why, Case why? Now I want to buy a spare, but if I start buying spares for all my favorites because I worry about carrying them if they can't be easily replaced.............that way lies madness. And bankruptcy. Anyway, everyone have a great Fourth of July. Even those in other parts of the world.

Indeed they do and the SBJ is such a wonderful knife. I really love that knife. :)

A shame they put it back into the vault. :(

Some great knives today.

Primble - that diamond edge - WOW! Just WOW!

Swayback jack today in chesnut bone, of course.

Rachel - like the rich chestnut bone on your SBJ - nothing is forever at Case USA. :o

Gevonovich - glad you liked my only Shapleigh!

Some great knives today.

Primble - that diamond edge - WOW! Just WOW!

Swayback jack today in chestnut bone, of course.

Jennifer - thank you so much - the chestnut bone SBJ is always a great choice. Come to think of it, both the gals are totin' the same knife today - hmmm - makes me wonder what Pertinux is carrying today and what you all know that we don't?? :p
