Thats gorgeous. I was just reading Sardinia is top clear water in the WORLD :)

Trand,
thank you for reminding me what my dreams are made of :)

Steve,
rest assured that I am as happy to have given away that knife as you are of owning it...and I'm glad to see you carry and use it from time to time :p

I need to take some new pictures of my knives...but this is what I'm carrying today ;)

I know this is worthless without pics, but my carry for the last week has been a '70s Boker 493 Barlow, and the ever-present LM micra. I credit Pinnah's pics with turning me on to that little gem. The Boker's pretty sweet as well :D

xceptnl: I got #7… my favorite number! Of course, I was considering a lot of different ones. The poor guy at KSF was pulling knives out of the box… matching numbers and describing them to me on the phone. Great customer service! I think I will like it more than the GEC #92 for sure as far as looks of the blade. But performance, I will have to see. The GEC #92 had the worst edge EVER when it came to my door. But, once I fixed that... it has been a great performer. I took one knife with me to Sumatra (before getting this Hawthorne) and I chose the #92. Because it was easy to carry, easy to re-shaprpen and was not so expensive that if I lost it I would cry! Pic…

The .45 is my Grail. I is a Kimber Custom CDP II. It is the perfect conceal carry weapon. I like the way it feels and shoots as much as any Wilson Combat (still want of those as well). People complain about price for a Kimber, yet we have people all day long pay way over $1500 for 2 pieces of titanium w/ a 3-4 inch slab of steel between them that is sharp and acid washed… I want to remind people… Don't forget the Kimber "piece of metal" shoots .45 bullets accurately up to 20 yards! Hello, worth it!

Disregard my other post about the #92 comparison. Post it here. What number did you get? I can't wait for mine.

CASE SBJ will be with me today... great little knife I got as an anniversary gift from wife :)

Kevin,
nice to see you around my friend :)
This weekend I'll be off, and visiting some wonderful beaches on the East coast of my island. I hope I manage to take some decent pictures, and show them here...then you'll be even more convinced ;)

Nice Sodbuster. Those keychain tools like yours and the Atwood are hard to find or get hold of.

Thanks! That Soddie is just such a handy knife.

Atwoods are things of beauty and priced way outta my league. Mine's just a Chinese knockoff and priced accordingly ;) Search the bay for "Tirement Pry Tool".

Enjoy your time and email them to me in case they don't have any knives in them!!

After carrying a Barlow for the last 2 weeks, I'm switching to a #15 Crown Lifter for this special weekend. I expect many a crown will be lifted between now and Monday. :D
