My "dynamic duo"- G10 Case Peanut and Hawkbill Pruner. The ridiculous humidity is doing weird things to the bolsters on my pruner- they're getting some sort of strange patina. I've only this knife for about two weeks now, but it has seen some good, solid use. I like it a lot. It has a brother in amber bone coming this afternoon (hopefully). I can't wait for the CV versions of this knife to come out!

Case's F&F on their black G10 models is superb. The blade action on the peanut is excellent. I have come to prefer the "as ground" blade finish to the standard Case tumbled/mirrored stuff. The as-ground blades are more crisp, and have much better walk & talk.

Elliott, the bone on your Schrade is astonishing!

Hmmm I thought the 881's were delrin handles? Guess not the older ones. Either way it is a winner:thumbup:

If that's delrin, it's the best-looking I've ever seen! :D

The bolsters on that knife are interesting, they look "flared" somehow, where they meet the scales. I'm trying to get my head around why they would be made that way, or how that happened.
Edit- nevermind, that's a trick of the light. I have it figured out now. In the first picture, the scales look flared up where they meet the scales, but looking at the other pictures shows this is not the case.

It's a super-cool knife, at any rate.

Still this Menefee dogleg, can't seem to get this one out of my pocket.

Thank you sir.

There's something about a stockman...most any stockman. But the old ones do have their charms.

Soon, I'll be carrying a blue bone Case small toothpick.

LOL

No... just needed a friendly looking knife for the watch pocket on my jeans.
