I just received this #81 Northfield Abiline in African Blackwood yesterday - a beauty to say the least. This is my third Stockman now. This one is 4" closed and I particularly like the long-pull. The fact that the spines of the main Clip and Spey blades are flush with one another makes this one more sleek. Typically it seems the spine of the Spey blade rides a bit higher than the main blade in the Stockman pattern. On my #66 Calf Roper and my Case large Stockman this is def true.
Those custom grips are very elegant!
The 81 is a lot of knife in one package. It looks great in blackwood too. Mine in the moss green bone is a favorite![]()

Very cool, the bone with the blues and whites looks like ice in that pic.
The coloring on this one is fantastic.
Primble that make photo makes me want to purchase a constellation of stars in the shape of a Charlow, ..maybe the TC and the pins.

Thank you! To tell you the truth, I'm not really sure as I won it some years ago.It does look a little different from my yellow one but not much, and it takes a devilish edge! I'm very fond of this modest little knife as it is so well finished, it gets a lot of my time.
