What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Add any more knives in your pockets Jack and you are going to have to pass the pub and stop by the men's clothing store and pick up a pair of suspenders, as our friend Stephen advised another member, just yesterday! Three knives in tow is pretty impressive in my book and you made nice choices! :D:D

Our rain has finally departed and it is sunny & cool today, much like an October morning. :)

LOL! Thanks my friend :D

Jack
Sound great sitting in a pub with a satchel full of knives

As I had been to a 'car-boot sale', I did indeed have a satchel with knives! :D

Olbertz today :)

Very nice Paul

I'm carrying three folders again today, so I hope I don't have to run! :D ;)

Same as yesterday, #92 Eureka Jack:

Stephen Thank you for noticing the knife! It's an Ohta direct from him in Japan, a very pleasant gentleman to deal with.

Regards, Will.

Very nice Will, I've been tempted by Mr. Ohta's knives many times but never pulled the trigger for some reason. This is one of the best I've seen.

Today - it is a pair of Primbles. "The Deal Knife", after some mild cleaning ( Given to me by "Old & in the Way" for cleaning up his ole Cat ) :D :

Thank you too Mark. He usually does these with Wharncliffe but I opted for Clip. He's excellent to deal with, absolutely to his word about delivery day (sent it off on 27th Dec!) gave me three different sets of stag to choose from and the fit&finish is peerless.

Regards, Will

My mail this morning contained 3 different orders of knives so it was a difficult choice but today I went with this TC barlow it's my first one.

I do, really I do. I am trying to use it as much as possible to wear away some of the corrosion buildup on the spring / tang faces. The gritty and less than smooth operation is really messing with my OCD.

:D:D:D While I still think I got the better end of our deal, I've gotta say, you really brought out the beauty in that old India Steel Works knife. I especially like the 'unholy' shield. ;) Thanks for posting the photos; seeing it restored to such a wonderful condition brought a big smile to my face.

You got a little moss on the back pin there. I had to blow it up to figure out what that was. For a second there it looked like you had tried to replace that pin with a screw for some reason and gunked up the wood around it.

As it is, that's a real nice looking knife with all the pins in their proper place.
