It sure is, and its got great f&f plus sharp blades taboot.

Great knives folks!

Absolutely love those northwoods scagels. To bad they are quite rare.

after carrying my case texas jack and gec 85 carbon steel knives for the last few days, i spent several hours cleaning rust of my already patina'd carbon blades

soooo, today, i rocking some stainless steel :p Did i mention its august, in mississippi...and i work in a warehouse with no air conditioning...yeahhhh

probably not as pretty, but much easier in the maintenance department

Hot indeed, a rust paradise :eek: Maybe you should get one of these, for such days?

lol tempting
but yeah the stockman does purty good, and its got a a few more points of RC hardness to count on :p

Challenged by Primble, I pocketed one of my favorites today.

This Queen half-Congress in Birds-Eye Maple and D2 has my two favorite blade shapes in one of my favorite alloys. And the fit and finish is spot on.

:D

Markesharp, Will and Jennifer - thank you all for the kind compliments!

Andi - really like the Charlow.

Gary - very nice Scagel

Duane - that Buck fixed blade looks awesome.

Mark K - terrific scales on that one.

Frank - I can see why that one would be in the running for your favorite. :)

Hehe, OK just checkin' :)

The Stockman is by far my favorite pattern now for the past several months. The Peanut is always #2 man. The 6375 is a beast...

W:eek:W! Jeff, that comparison pic makes the peanut look like.....gulp....a peanut.:D

I have a smaller Case stockman with the same handles and CV blades coming next week. I think I'll like it.

Ok, I know I said your pictures made me feel like I was in a quiet, kind of getaway place… well, the snake just ruined that feeling! I still love the pics, but I might be finding another place for my mind's vacation - and no snakes allowed.

They are all over my property and they eat the bugs up. I like em. ;)

The humidity today was unreal. The dog days of summer had the temp at 98 at 8:00 central. Took a while for my camera to stop fogging up.
