Gevo,

That old Mechanic's Special is indeed special - that was very nice of Paul.:thumbup:

One of those coins was minted the same year I was minted - I wonder if you can guess which? ;):D

I like the coins and the Opinel is nice too - I see that I/we are not going to shame you into throwing those poor old Cicada carcasses in the dumpster. :foot::D:D

Thanks for the compliments on the knives and old coins! As to my guess on the mint date...I'd say 54' was a fine year to be born...a fine year!!

I guess it's time the boys met the funeral pyre:eek:

This #66 still, I kinda miss carrying an "old" knife, but it is going to be hard to leave this one at the house for a while I believe.

Beautiful! This same knife is rapidly climbing to the top of my hit parade. I am starting to hesitate taking it out of my pocket for another.....hmmm

Enjoy that bad boy! Here's mine:

so yeah, the 9mm HP is pretty traditional too, 1935 i believe...

Yes sir, it is. Probably one of the finest pistols made. If James Bond were here, he'd be packing a BHP and likely a Sykes/Fairbairn with a SAK in tow. But I'll forgive the case knife. (joke).

r8shell - I think you've covered all your cutting needs in a very slylish manner today. Three beauties.

Paul - I can see why you'd like that Moore Maker. Very nice!

Bloefield - great minds think alike; I'm carrying a Camillus 72 today as well.

Smithhammer - looks like you're well equipped for the camping trip. Have fun!

Pete - stunning photos as always!

Sarah - I love your Scout. Is there an emoticon for envy? ;)

@LeathermanGX, bearsquared & Markesharp - great combos.

rockgolfer - nice photograph of an equally nice knife.

Erik - I really like the copper collection.

Jennifer - thanks for the compliment. That's a beautiful little XX you're carrying today as well. I feel the same as you about old Cases. :)

Primble - terrific photo! A 'user' photo'd on a sponge and it still looks better than anything I'm capable of.

I'm carrying this Camillus 72 today.

I'd like to get a dagger of some sort one day. Not necessarily a fairborn Sykes style either...think 16th century style dagger lol

I love this GEC #47 Hay'n Hauler with the single sheepsfoot blade. Finally got a GEC with single blade sheepsfoot! Finally! I was starting to wander if they really existed. Oh, and yes... Oeser Cross Dogleg is still my favorite. But I will use the GEC way more! A good worker.

Love the ALOX as well...

I didn't think those #47's with the sheepsfoot were anywhere to be found. Nice pickup.
