What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Ahhh your ebony clip arrived!
How do you like it?

Very much! I was lucky enough to get this one from a forum member who has lost his traditional vibe, it was a steal really. It's a great knife, I can see why you keep going back to it. Its a pretty down to earth pattern, the Tidioute version, no bells and whistles. It relies on its simple elegance and functionality to make it aesthetically pleasing. I love how there's enough clip spine protruding for it to be pinched open too.

You guys all have such awesome knives depicted so beautifully. I've wanted a #68 Buckaroo forever, and I sold or gave away all my stockmans. And the Eric's Jacks are really calling to me. And I've always wanted a GEC (like 440c) in the Elk, and I've always wanted a 47 and I see a couple still up. The struggle is real.

Sorry for the terrible picture, my phone is awful. Can't wait to be able to upgrade without paying $500+.

plus the ebony is likely to outlast our grandkids with a bit of care :D
i guess i have fat fingers though, its really difficult (although possible) to pinch the main blade open...if my hands are clean/dry

but yeah the ebony is cool, kind of a warm feeling wood, hard to describe, but definitely feels good in hand dont it

On the bright side you have an all black vanishing point! I've always wanted one of those.

...mine came well worn in, and the mains pull is only about a six I reckon. Aye, it has great ergonomics :)

Fall break is next week and I managed to get sick. Figured I would take the ebony with me to get a shot to knock whatever this out. Hope you all have a great one.

Is that what this is called? It was a graduation gift from my aunt, along with some Noodler's ink. I really like it, I like to write to vent frustrations sometimes and it just glides across the page keeping up. I do wish it were a little finer in the point though.

EDIT: I just looked this pen up with the name you gave. HOLY COW.!!! I sent a thank you card when I got it but knowing what I know now I think I'll have to send another. I didn't look the name up when I got it and had no idea of the price. No wonder it writes so well!!!

Very nice! Though I have to admit it makes my stomach hurt just a bit to see it since it is exactly like mine that I lost last week. :(

I know about your loss, at least I´ve read about it here. Sorry for all this. I didn´t want to hurt you in any way, Sir. Sorry again!!

They can get pretty pricey, you can also get a replacement nib that will make it a finer point. Then again those are pricey too. You can't go wrong with Noodlers either.

Case XX redbone Peanut, 1940-64 era, in pristine, mint condition ( looks to have never been cleaned nor sharpened ).

I already had a beautiful 64-69 redbone Peanut, but, this one takes the cake, to my eye. NO color modification during processing (in case you wondered).

I call this one "Crimson Tide" in color. ;)

That is a beautiful example of a Peanut, Primble.

Today I'm carrying a Northwoods Forest Jack, which I refer to as "The Pickle", along with a Case Mini Trapper. Pretty sure I have a Vic Alox Pioneer in my bag too.
