What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Brand new Slimline Trapper CV today. Not sure if I will force a patina or just let it age naturally.

Thank you for the comments Gevo and I love the worm groove.:thumbup::thumbup::D

I tried to bring some buckeyes into the house the other day, and my wife, being a Michigan fan just about gagged! So no pictures of my knives with buckeyes.
VVVVV Nice hawkbill Primble VVVVV

Mark - I keep mine in an old mason jar with lid - maybe she would let you that way??:D Glad you liked my Hawk bill and nice carry you have today!:)

Paul - It takes some getting used to when the chicks leave the nest - I still miss mine in many ways, but, there are a few perks that go along with the sad, as you will find out over time. ;):)

I like the knife, by the way.:)

Recently I rediscovered this old Camillus #18 Jack I had.
It's 3+7/8th" closed. Little bigger than my regular Jacks like 33OT's or 833 UH's.
Very solid, great snap. Sharpened up nice. 1095 I think. It's not stainless.
Anyway, been totin this along with my regular edc and I'm liking it more than ever.

Oh, my; imho, that's a stunning, quintessential jackknife, Bloefield!:thumbup:

And that one is magnificent, too, Gevonovich!:thumbup:

I always see this thread near the top of the list, but seldom take the time to look at it. That's going to have to change!

Good looking knife!! I need to pull out my Texas Jack

I have the next 9 days off and decided to start the vacation off with the 73.
Ahh...to have one in my pocket all day. Feels good.

Hope you all have a great weekend.

A fine example Paul. I was always curious why the electrician didn't have the pivot pin polished down like so many of the other GECs of similar size and shape.

Inquiring minds want to know :)

Sorry for the late response guy's:o I actually had this message ready to respond---got sidetracked and am just getting back to it now:thumbup:

This is not a definite by any means but I'm understand the raised pin is for future peening if the blade develops play:confused:
