What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

GEVO ~ Thank you sir. I hope the weather is kind as well. No matter what though I'm going to enjoy it. Heading to St. Louis in the morning.

Thought I would enjoy the day with these three amigos.

Jack - a shame about the weather but getting to carry the Needham and Smith knives is surely a nice consolation. :)

Sam - beautiful photo of the Erickson trapper.

Paul - congratulations on your team's win last night. Lovely collection of colorful knives. The bright red Pemberton really stands out. :thumbup:

Brett - I hope you have a good trip! You certainly seem well equipped for whatever cutlery needs come up today. ;)

I've been in my pajamas sick for a few days and haven't even had a pocket knife on me! Still in my PJs, but feeling a little better. I'm about to show these European buddies what real football is.

 
I've joined in a "minimalist challenge" for the Month of October on another forum so it's this Pioneer every day - and NOTHING ELSE! So my other knives are on vacation this month and resting in the safe... I really love SAKs, but do miss my Stockman. I always carry two pocket knives, so this is a funny feeling with only one pocket knife :)

Thanks Stephen. I've never carried three so I thought I try it out. Ended up putting the 81 back on the dresser.

Gevo ~ love the Robeson shot. The shadows look perfect for a cool autumn day like today.

Good luck and godspeed! I've tried my hand at some of these challenges before, they can be hard! But, in my experience a month is the perfect amount of time. When I first started messing around on this forum there was a traditional of the month challenge where you would only carry one pattern for a month. I really enjoyed those threads and got me to consider new traditional patterns. I hope you learn something on your journey, minimalism is a worthwhile pursuit!

Thanks Stephen. Typically, the weather turned sunny this afternoon, but by then it was too late to go out walking.
