It's 1972-1975
Disregard tang stamps when it comes to Boker, they reissue classics all the time, only works on knives you already know are early productions,

Thanks for the feedback guys, that's about what I reckoned. US made sometime in the 70's with Stainless blades. The only markings on the knife are the boker tree brand stamp on the bolster and 493 stamped on the clip blade. From what I read on some other forums, the swedge only on the mark side, brass scale liners with a steel center liner, and 2 pins in the handles are indicative of Delrin handled US made SS bladed knives. Nice to have confirmation from the folks over here.

Crazy Chester followed me and he caught me in the fog
He said, "I will fix your rack if you'll take Jack, my dog"
I said, "Wait a minute, Chester, you know I'm a peaceful man"
He said, "That's okay, boy, won't you feed him when you can"

Love that pic, Carl! The pipe is marvelous

Now that is a fine pair!

It's taken about 35 to 40 years to darken that meerschaum like that! And I believe that in the year and half I've been using the resolza, the horn has darkened a bit too. Time will tell.
