What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I will be off to the pre-wedding activities shortly. I decided to carry one of my ole red bones, a 1940-64 era half whittler for the occasion:

Everyone have a nice weekend. :)

Great knife Primble for great activities, may you of all people have a nice and memorable weekend;)

@ Todd, Thanks Todd for the compliment...enjoy your weekend my friend:D

@ Paul, That Ulster is STUNNING!!! Worthy of a victory I'd say:)

Nice knives folks!
Primble, congratulations for the wedding, and best wishes to both bride and groom. As a friend of mine would say, "they will need those wishes" :D just kidding, enjoy your day, and your knife (a wedding is a nice opportunity to show it around when appetizers are served on the lawn...)
Here's what I'm carrying today (first picture of this knife posted here, and thanks to Frank and everyone else who gave me feedback on this one).
Queen #51 jack in birdseye maple and D2:

Gev - Thanks! It's just a hair shy of 4" closed, but is surprisingly light.

Today's carry. :) :D

Thanks, Stephen
So much variation in all the Forum knives. I think that is what makes them even more special.

Primble
Hope the wedding is wonderful. Enjoy!

Paul - wonderful old Ulster and the blade etch is just incredible. I hope it's a favorable omen for your game tonight, but if not, you still have a terrific 'new' knife. The way I see it, you can't lose today.

Primble - outstanding choice! All my best to you, your son and his bride on this special day!

Fausto - beautiful birdseye maple scales on your Queen.

Gevonovich - wow! Stunning OVB.

Gorgeous Forum Knife gifted to me from a great friend and a red ALOX Soldier;)

Lots of nice forum knives being posted - have my fingers crossed for mine being in my mail when I get home later today.

Paul - congratulations on the arrival of your grail Ulster knife.;):)

Everyone have a nice weekend. :)

That's a beautiful knife for a beautiful occasion, unfortunately I'm working nightshift tonight otherwise I would sink a dram in honour of your wee boy and his bride!

I hope your Irish and my Northern Irish (pronounced Norn' Are-ish) do us proud :)

Great Ulster and the etch is soooo nice.

I know, I intended to carry and use it but will miss the etch at it patinas. Thats a lovely old Hibbard by the way.

Very true, I'll still wind up screaming at the gogglebox mind :D

Today I'm going with a small but serious Barlow in Orange bone

I love the GEC 25 barlow pattern, and that Bulldog is a gorgeous specimen.

Primble - Congrats to you and your family on the big day. Couldn't pick a nicer looking knife for such an occasion. All of the Case red bone pictures have been great.

Oh, indeed. ;)

As for me, I wouldn't say I'm toting this little 3" Syracuse jack today...

...but I did decide to make it the Official Cutlery of the Information Technology Workstation & Resource Center, which is to say this is now the knife that sits at the computer table in case I need one. :D

That's the Case/Bose Collaboration Lockback Whittler from 2005 in stag. I'm anxiously awaiting the 2014 Wharnclife Whittler in ebony that I pre-ordered.
