What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

 Gary

Carried a 1944 Richards-made British Army clasp knife today when I went to see ADEE and visit his local market.

Had these with me when I went.

Came back with these.

I recognize a few of those. ;)

The little stainless one on the right edge of the picture is a lighter with blade and scissors, right? I have one of those around here somewhere. Who made the barehead jack at he top of the second pic? Looks American.:D
At any rate, Nice haul!

With me today.

From one veteran (USAF 1971-1975) to the rest, Thanks for your service!

Enjoy your peace and freedom today in the knowledge that many men and women have given their all in the service of your country.

Thank you Gary for your service to this Great Nation and to all Veterans who have sacrificed so that we all can enjoy the freedom we have. God Bless.

Sorry for the late roll call guys. Happy Veterans Day! My grandpa was always proud I was born on this holiday. He called it Armistice day.

A belated Happy Birthday my friend, hope you had a good one

Two great pics Pete

That looks like an original Sykes Fairbairn in the background? If so could you please tell me the maker? :)

Isn't it a V42, hard to see the pommel?

I recognize a few of those. ;)

 I took the Camillus BSA Whittler I won in your giveaway, and the well-designed pocket sheath over to show ADEE :)

Yes, you're right about the lighter, sort of like a Vic Classic. I bought about a dozen of them and gave the rest away. I've had it about seven years now, and it's been a really useful little tool :)

The barehead jack was made by Solar in Japan in the early 70's. There's a guy who does some of the Yorkshire markets who has a big stash of them and sells them for a few pounds. ADEE had one, and I'd asked him to get me one if he saw the feller. It's stainless, delrin or plastic covers, but pretty well made, cost about $7. The Trapper is from the same source

Jack
I treasure the fact that I can call you my friend! You are truly a treasure to us all.

LOL! Thanks my friend. The two FB's were gifts from ADEE. I got a few from the market, passed on a few too :)

I´ve had my GEC #66 Serpentine Jack one me again. I know why it is my most carried knife in the past... just plain awesome to carry around the whole day :)

This Old And Trusty Fellow... at least until the end of the week... eventually longer

Thanks for the kind words, Sir. Highly appreciated!

This is one of my favorite knives to see, it looks so well loved.

Thanks Gev. :)

It´s hard right now not to give up since the other ones are almost screaming. But the Force is strong in me... LOL ;) :D
